.Jesse J. Sell, Ph.D.
Treasurer and Director of Administration
Dr. Sell is
a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (Phi Beta Kappa) and holds the M.Div. and Ph.D. Degrees from Duke University, as well as a certificate in
nonprofit management from Duke. He is an ordained Minister of The United
Church of Christ.
Jesse spent many years in the academic study of Religion, was a
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Duke University and has numerous
publications in his academic discipline. He is a certified and licensed addictions
counselor (LCAS; MAC; ICAC) and has worked as a chemical dependency
counselor at Pinehurst Treatment Center, CHAPS Koala Center, Fellowship
Hall, Inc. and the Clark-Dartmouth Clinic. He is a published author in
the field of addiction treatment research.

R. Dewayne Book, MD
Director; Vice President of Corporation
Dr. Book has been Medical Director of Fellowship Hall, Greensboro, NC
since 2000.
He was educated at the Louisiana State University (BS); the University of
Georgia (MSW) and Mercer University School of Medicine (MD). His
advanced training (internship and residency) was at Duke University
Medical Center. He was honored by being chosen "Outstanding Student of
the Year" at both Mercer Medical School and Duke University Medical Center.
He is
Board Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine and is a
Past-President of the North Carolina Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr.
Book is also a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and serves as a
Member of the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice
Board.
Dr. Book
also holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor at Duke University
Medical Center where he supervises and trains Residents in Addictions
treatment.

Joyce Anderson Stutts
Director
Ms. Stutts recently retired after many years as Family Therapy Counselor
and Trainer at Fellowship Hall, Inc., Greensboro, NC. She also served as a
Family Therapy Counselor at the Alcoholism Residential Care Authority in
Winston-Salem, NC, and holds certification by the International
Certification & Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse.
Joyce has served as a board member of the Guilford county Area Mental
Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services Program
and, for more than twenty years, has been involved in countless other
recovery related activities and organizations.

Martin L. Brooks, MD
Director; Chair of the Board
Dr. Brooks
is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and has
practiced medicine in Robeson County, North Carolina for many years. He
has also served as Medical Director of Carolina Manor Treatment Center and
Samaritan Colony, Inc.
Martin has been involved in countless recovery related activities and
projects, including the NC Physicians Health and Effectiveness Committee,
and he is one of the most sought after speakers in this part of the
country. His years of service to North Carolina and Robeson County have
garnered him countless awards and the undying gratitude of the thousands
he has helped.

H. Hall Powell, CFRE
(Volunteer) Fund-Raising Counsel
Mr. Powell
is a graduate of Guilford College and Winthrop University.
Mr. Powell has 23 years experience in charitable fundraising. Hall has served as Executive Director of the New Hanover Regional Medical Center
Foundation, 1991-1996. He previously had his own professional fundraising
consulting firm (Powell, Stump & Associates) and was director of the
Amethyst Foundation in Charlotte, NC. Prior to that Mr. Powell worked
several years for the oldest and largest fund-raising consulting firm in
the country, Kethcum, Inc.
Hall is a certified fund raising executive through the Association of
Fundraising Professionals and was recently honored by election to the board
of directors of that organization.
Mr. Powell served on the faculty of the School of Business at Winthrop
University and has also taught in the Duke University Program in Nonprofit
Management

Harold Pearson
Secretary of the Corporation;
Director
Harold is Executive Director of Samaritan Colony
in Rockingham, North Carolina, an institution to which he has devoted a
major portion of his life. He is also active in many other
recovery related organizations and activities.

Steven C. Grambow, Ph.D. is an Assistant
Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Duke
University Medical Center and a Senior Statistician for the Center for
Health Services Research in Primary Care and the Epidemiologic Research
and Information Center (ERIC) at the Durham Veteran Affairs Medical
Center.
He was educated at California State
University at Chico (BS) and the University of Kentucky (MS and PhD) and
has been a faculty member at Duke University Medical Center since 1999.
Steve is a clinical
researcher and serves as principal investigator or co-investigator on a
variety of clinical, health services, and epidemiological research
studies. He is actively involved
in several intervention studies designed to improve aftercare adherence
following inpatient addiction treatment and is a published author in the
field of addiction treatment research. He has been actively involved in
recovery related organizations and activities for the past 20 years.

Richard
Puschinsky MD.,
F.A.C.S.
Director
Dr. Puschinsky is a
graduate of Texas A&M University (B.S.), and Baylor College of Medicine
in Houston, TX (M.D.). He is a Diplomat of the American Board of
Urology, having received urology internship and residency training at
Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Richard is also a Fellow of The
American College of Surgeons.
He has been in
private urology practice at Medical Center Urology in High Point, NC
since 1995.
Dr. Puschinsky is a
Past President of the High Point Medical Society, he is a member of the
North Carolina Medical Society Ethical and Judicial Affairs Committee,
and he is on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Physicians
Health Program.
Richard has been
actively involved in recovery related organizations and activities since
1990.
Anne
Fitzgreald RN
Director
Anne Fitzgerald graduated form nursing
school in Miami, Florida in 1976. She has been working for 32 years in
the field of nursing specializing in the care of terminally ill
children. She has been at Duke University Medical Center for the last 22 years.
Anne has been an active member of the 12
step program for years and is invested in recovery of all interested.
