About RCS

The Renewal Center of the South is a non-profit organization, which operates a 5,000 sq. ft. facility on an 82-acre lot.

The retreats are led by fellow 12-step members. Each retreat is different, and the topics are chosen by the retreat leader. If you have something heavy on your heart, then we encourage you to share. We offer a safe place to be alone, or amongst new friends.

Addiction takes so much from us. Our retreats are a way to reconnect with old hobbies, or talents that addiction may have taken away. There is a fishing pond on the property, with rods provided for our guests. Several trails to walk during the day, and a relaxing fire pit to sit around at night. Sometimes, the weather keeps us inside, and for such a situation we offer a library, and a variety of board and card games to play with friends.

Laughter and crying have their own healing powers, and the weekend is yours to spend it how you want. Every weekend is different, and we hope you decide to check out The Renewal Center of the South.
